The working environment of carton machinery is humid and high temperature, and some equipment is accompanied by impact load. Therefore, in the selection of lubricant, its demulsibility, water resistance, heat oxidation stability and load resistance are mainly considered. The lubrication points of paper machinery are closed in principle. The bearings from the headbox to the press section of the paper machine are sealed with bearing shells to prevent cross contamination caused by water immersion and grease overflow. In the dry section of the paper machine, due to the high temperature during operation, the central lubrication station is used to transfer lubricating oil to various bearings for lubrication and heat dissipation. The grease lubrication points at the wet end mostly adopt the method of regular manual patrol inspection and grease injection and replacement, so the lubrication system often refers to the central lubrication station in the dry section and all transmission and oil supply pipelines and oil injection devices.

The lubrication station in the dry section of the paper machine is usually selected from the standard general model, which is better in terms of oil filtering capacity and oil temperature control capacity. If there is a magnetic filter and constant temperature control, it is more suitable. The oil transportation volume of the lubrication station shall generally be calculated according to the heat dissipation needs of each lubrication point.

This is another foothold for the development and change of carton machinery industry. It represents the development direction of carton packaging  and will make carton production enter a new era of specialization, division of labor and cooperation. Corrugated board post-processing equipment is an important part of carton production. In economically developed areas, small and medium-sized enterprises are transforming and strengthening post-processing equipment, removing the original small equipment for processing paperboard, re configuring and strengthening post-processing equipment according to market business volume, fundamentally breaking the backward model of “large and complete” and “small and complete”, so as to comprehensively improve the quality of cartons. Attention should be paid to the technology, process and grade of post-processing equipment. For example, Suzhou Wuzhong Sanyuan carton factory is a typical village run small and full-scale enterprise. The original carton processing machines include single-sided machines, single machines, post-processing, printing, slotting, nailing boxes and other machines, which are also domestic equipment, with an annual output value of 35 million yuan. The boss used his brains to dispose of all the domestic small equipment. He bought a small printing slotting machine and an automatic box nailing machine from Taiwan. The cardboard processed by the high-grade line and the post-processing cartons are no inferior to the products produced by the high-grade production line. The product quality has been upgraded, the enterprise has developed rapidly, and the output value has expanded to more than 20 million yuan. This is a successful example of investment and transformation of post-processing equipment.
