Carton mechanical paper conveyor is an indispensable part of modern sheet fed offset press. Its performance is related to the running speed of the machine and the overprint accuracy of the product to a certain extent. The paper feeder shall ensure that the paper is separated stably and accurately, transported to the positioning mechanism, and then input into the printing device. Due to the blind pursuit of output by some printing manufacturers, the equipment is not well maintained, and the machine has been used for a long time, the paper feeding of the paper conveyor is often unstable. As the universal coupling fork of some printing machines is exposed, fine particles such as paper powder are easy to stay between the universal coupling fork and the connecting ball. Over time, the two fork heads are worn and the matching gap is increased. Vibration will occur during transmission, which will be reflected on the paper feeding, resulting in unstable paper feeding. Solution: replace the worn universal coupling fork and connecting ball. When replacing the universal coupling fork, pay attention to make the fork openings at both ends into a plane, otherwise new vibration sources will be generated. As paper powder and sand are often sucked into the suction valve by the suction nozzle, over time, the wear of the valve body and valve shell is exacerbated. In addition, some operators operate improperly and damage the air groove of the valve body, so that the paper feeding suction nozzle works to the limit position. When the paper receiving wheel is pressed down, the suction force of the suction nozzle still exists, and the paper conveying process stops. This phenomenon has a great impact on the overprint accuracy of products and seriously puzzles the operator. Solution: remove the air distribution valve and observe the air groove of the valve body. If it is seriously worn, clean the air groove and fill the tail of the air groove with welding rod for about 2-4mm.
A pair of bevel gears on the edge of the paper feeding clutch, because the whole gear is exposed, the working environment is relatively bad. If it is not maintained properly, it is easy to aggravate the wear of the tooth surface, and the fit relationship between the bevel gear and the inner key becomes clearance fit, resulting in a series of unstable phenomena such as paper feeding jitter. Sometimes, due to the long-term lack of oil and rust of the air valve or the failure of other parts, the external force is too large, resulting in the fracture of a pin, resulting in the wrong cooperation time between the host and the paper conveyor, which brings trouble to the printing. Solution: if the gear or square key is worn, replace it. If the pin is broken, find out the cause of the fracture, and carefully check whether each pin has heating, iron powder and other phenomena, which should be eliminated in time according to the actual situation. Of course, in addition to the above factors causing unstable paper feeding, too loose pressure spring of brake block, loose paper feeding wheel bearing, and wear of support bolts of separating head into each connecting rod will also cause unstable paper feeding.
